Social Media Strategies Are Overlooked by Executives [INFOGRAPHIC]
Social media strategies need to be considered when making business decisions, yet many executives overlook them.
This is an issue that has long plagued the advocate of social media strategies. Executives are often hesitant to incorporate social media strategies in their business decisions, and these choices can be quite costly. The irony is that executives of larger companies, on a much larger scale, do consider their social media strategies when it comes to making decisions. So why do smaller businesses not follow suit? We have past the point where people can argue that social media is not crucial for the growth of a business – be it local or worldwide. There is simply too much evidence to the contrary.
And yet, a recent study shows that the majority of small businesses and B2B companies are ignoring social media strategies in their decision-making processes. We noted in a post a while back how small businesses are using social media, but it would seem that this strategy has not caught on fully. Have a look at the infographic below to see where executives are missing the mark when it comes to their social media strategies.
