Meta Replaces Staff With AI, Continues To Spend Big on Development
Earlier this year, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg said that the rapid development of the latest AI tools would see Meta replacing mid-level engineers with AI as early as this year. And he’s now backing up that promise, at least in some capacity, with Meta today informing staff in its risk division that a number of them would be replaced with AI-powered tech.

Perplexity Responds To Reddit Lawsuit Over Data Access
Reddit sued Perplexity and three data-scraping firms in New York federal court, alleging the companies bypassed access controls to obtain Reddit content at scale, including by scraping Google search results.

OpenAI Releases Shared Project Feature To All Users
OPenAI announced that it is upgrading all ChatGPT accounts to be eligible for the project sharing feature, which enables users to share a ChatGPT project with others who can then participate and make changes. The feature was previously available only to users on OpenAI’s Business, Enterprise, and Edu plans.
