Instagram Rolls out New Achievement Awards for Creator Milestones
Instagram’s trying out another way to incentivize creators, with a new “Achievements” display, available in “Creator Mode” in the app, which allocates different badges for engagement milestones, like reaching 100 total post likes, 1,000 video plays, and more.

Instagram Rolls Out Option to Share Reels and Feed Posts with ‘Close Friends’ Only
While Instagram actually started rolling this out with selected users back in September, it’s now officially announced that all users will be able to share feed posts and Reels with a selected group of people that they’ve added to their “Close Friends” list.

Meta’s New Ad-Free Subscription Package Also Restricts Your Capacity to Run Ads in its Apps
Here’s a little detail that E.U. users may have missed when signing up for Meta’s new ad-free subscription option. As per Meta’s documentation, not only will you no longer see ads in your own feed as a result of paying €9.99 per month, but you also won’t be able to run ads, or boost posts for yourself, or your business, depending on your subscription.
