TikTok Looks to Promote Live Stream Shopping in More Regions
Live streams are a key element of TikTok’s broader in-app shopping push, with live-stream shopping now driving the majority of the revenue in the Chinese version of the app. As such, TikTok is now looking for more ways to get more businesses selling via video in the app, with a new push to expand TikTok Live shopping broadcasts in more regions, and new data on the growth of TikTok Live engagement to entice more sellers.

Google Brings Circle To Search Alternative To iPhone
Google is expanding ‘Circle to Search’ to iPhones, allowing users to search for anything on their screens. Google isn’t calling it by that name, though, because you can use “whatever gesture comes naturally.” If you’ve seen how it works on Android, it essentially does the same thing on iPhones. The big difference is you can only activate it from the Google or Chrome apps, whereas ‘Circle to Search’ on Android is built into the operating system.
