YouTube Pledges $15 Million to LA Wildfire Relief and Recovery Efforts
YouTube, along with parent company Google, has announced a $15 million donation to relief efforts for the LA wildfires, while it’s also detailed plans to allow creators to utilize its facilities as a replacement for lost studios and equipment.

TikTok Plans to Cut Off U.S. Users Entirely if Sell-Off Bill is Enacted
It certainly sounds like TikTok is going to be pulled from the U.S. next week, and it could happen faster than many had expected. According to a new report from The Information, TikTok’s planning to cut off U.S. users if/when the sell-off bill goes into effect next Monday, meaning that as of that day, TikTok would no longer be available to anyone in the region.

Google Retires Web Vitals Extension, Moves Everything to DevTools
Google has officially shut down its Web Vitals Chrome extension with the release of Chrome 132. All its key features are now fully integrated into DevTools’ Performance panel, making it the go-to tool for measuring Core Web Vitals. While nearly 200,000 users used the extension, the Chrome team has decided to focus solely on DevTools, which offers a more powerful and centralized platform for debugging site performance.
