LinkedIn Adds New Branded Content Library, Listing All Influencer Campaigns in the App
After rolling out its own branded content tags for posts last month, LinkedIn has now also added a new search functionality for branded content partnerships, which will enable users to explore all of the affiliate marketing campaigns that have used the new tags in the app.

September 2023 Core Web Vitals Champ: WordPress, Wix, Duda, Shopify
The HTTP Archive Core Web Vitals (CWV) report shows that the performance benchmarks of the top seven CMS have all improved in 2023. Of the top performers, one CMS in particular stands out with unexpectedly strong CWV scores.

Meta’s Developing its Own LLM to Compete with OpenAI
Meta’s looking to make a bigger push into generative AI, via a new LLM system that it hopes will make it the leader in the AI race. According to The Wall Street Journal, Meta’s currently building a new AI system, which it hopes will eventually rival OpenAI’s GPT systems in compute power and complexity. The system will build on Meta’s current Llama models, and bring Meta up to speed with others in the generative AI race.

X is Reportedly Throttling Links to Certain Publications, Based on Musk’s Whims
This probably slots into the ‘not at all surprising’ basket, but new reports have indicated that X has been throttling links to the New York Times of late, which is one of many publications that X owner Elon Musk has publicly criticized in his many, many rants about the bias of mainstream media.
